ANIMAJOR DAY 3 RESULTS (SOUTHSIDE TAMBAYAN COVERAGE)

It is day 3 and the start of the Group Stage of the WePlay Esports Kyiv Animajor! Here are some notes on the games covered by the gang at Southside Tambayan.

EVIL GENIUSES VS. TNC PREDATOR (2-0)

TNC Predator failed to cull the blades of Abed’s Templar Assassin, cancel out EG’s early rotations on the map, and the snowball of the whole EG lineup leading for Evil Geniuses to easily wipe the floor with TNC’s remains in an outstanding 29-8 game 1 in favor of EG.

TNC Predator tried to push back Evil Geniuses from securing a 2-0, causing a close game between both teams. However, things are too EZ for Arteezy as they ended the game with 31-38 in favor of EG.

PSG.LGD VS. BEASTCOAST (2-0)

Beastcoast caught PSD.LGD off-guard by picking an unorthodox draft and a mid-game focused build, throwing off PSG.LGD’s late-game scaling draft, trying (keyword, trying) to close out game 1, but were caught in the hands of PSG.LGD’s Anti-Mage after the team held on dragged out the game until he farmed out his items.

PSG.LGD took Beastcoast by surprise with a violent wave of a Morphling play by Ame, securing the series 2-0 in their favor.

TEAM LIQUID VS. VICI GAMING (0-2)

Vici Gaming dominated in their matches against Team Liquid, showing the EU team the power of a disciplined and calculated Chinese Dota pro playstyle. Poyoyo showed no mercy as he swallowed Team Liquid whole.

TNC PREDATOR VS. VICI GAMING (1-1)

Vici Gaming dominated the first game even after a close fight between TNC Predator, with their Medusa investment paying out in the late game.

TNC Predator, however pulled through in the second game, with Gabbi’s unkillable Monkey King leading the stampede and running over Vici Gaming in a fabulous 35-6 stomp!
