ANIMAJOR DAY 4 PLAYOFFS RESULTS

It is day 4 of the WePlay! Kyiv Animajor, and things are shaping up for the remaining teams as they strive harder to stay alive until the Grand Finals. Here is a quick recap of the games that the boys over at Southside Tambayan covered in their stream last night.

TEAM NIGMA VS. EVIL GENIUSES (0-2)

Abed and the gang make quick work of Team Nigma as they completely obliterate the EU team in their Best of 3 series. EG are baring their fangs and proving that they are indeed one of the top teams of Dota 2, and that a pandemic and a little misstep in the Singapore Major Finals could not change that fact.

QUINCY CREW VS. VICI GAMING (1-2)

Quincy Crew’s Venomancer-Templar Assassin combo melt through Vici Gaming’s calm and collected reactionary draft and help them take game 1 of the series. An uncontested Wraith King had all the free farm which helped him snowball faster and left Poyoyo’s Spectre in the dust.

Vici Gaming’s well-planned draft to counter Wraith King’s hyper-farm worked as Poyoyo Shukuchis hs way to game 2 and takes the win for Vici Gaming, forcing game 3.

VICI GAMING VS. EVIL GENIUSES (1-2)

Vici Gaming take game 1 despite Arteezy’s naughty and aggressive Outworld Devourer. They could not do anything to Vici Gaming’s cool and collected draft and gameplay, waiting for Poyoyo’s Spectre to go online.

Evil Geniuses bounce back in game 2, bringing in Arteezy’s Terrorblade to reign terror on the battlefield, winning the game by stomping Vici Gaming and forcing a game 3; a do or die.

Game 3 came around and EG delivered. Arteezy’s Terrorblade showed up and made fodder out of Poyoyo’s Faceless Void, officially ending the series 2-1 after three intense back-to-back games between the two teams.

PSG.LGD VS. T1 (2-1)

PSG.LGD take game 1 as they obliterate T1 with NothingToSay’s Leshrac and an overall well-rounded draft that outplayed T1’s draft.

T1 pulled off in the second game, as they pick off PSG.LGD clash after clash after clash, leaving Ame’s SPectre to farm enough for him to be online and slice through PSG.LGD’s defense like butter.

PSG.LGD wreak havoc upon T1 as they show the latter their place — in the loser’s semi-finals against Evil Geniuses. A well-rounded draft and dsiciplined gameplay throttled PSG.LGD to win and secure their place in the finals.
