ANIMAJOR DAY 6 RESULTS (SOUTHSIDE TAMBAYAN COVERAGE)

Day 6 of the WePlay Kyiv Animajor and the last day of the Group Stage. Southside Tambayan is covering the games for group A, and here is a recap of those matches!

PSG.LGD VS. VICI GAMING (1-1)

In a match between both Chinese teams, PSG.LGD rose triumphant over Vici Gaming with their unorthodox-armor-reduction draft with a position 1 Doom, stomping Vici Gaming and Ame’s Troll Warlord pick.

However, Vici Gaming picked up their slack and rose to win game 2, ending the series in a 1-1 tie with PSG.LGD.

TNC PREDATOR VS. TEAM SPIRIT (1-1)

TNC Predator wins game 1 after a thrilling back-and-forth match against Team Spirit with the leadership and quick-thinking of Armel to help lead the charge on Team Spirit, who was looking to end the game on their own terms.

Team Spirit, however, took back their claim and charged ahead to take game 2, ending the series in a tie, 1-1.

BEAST COAST VS. TEAM NIGMA (0-2)

Team Nigma doom Beast coast as they take game 1 with the help of Miracle’s Doom and Kuroky’s Enchantress, stomping the South American team and burying them six feet under. There was just no way to bounce back, as both teams made sure to have complete fun in game 2, enjoying the game as it is, and not as a rigidly competitive sport.

TEAM LIQUID VS. EVIL GENIUSES (1-1)

Evil geniuses make quick work of Team Liquid as they liquified the latter in game 1 with a powerhouse of dominant heroes, and Team Liquid could just not do anything to keep up.

Game 2 was a different story, as Team liquid finally managed to pick themselves up and lead themselves to victory

[TIE-BREAKER] TEAM LIQUID VS. TEAM SPIRIT (0-1)

In an unfortunate turn of events, CIS team Spirit charges forward and leaves Team liquid in the dust as they beat them in the tie-breaker match 21-11, in favor of Team Spirit. This match cements Team Liquid’s place on the outsides of the WePlay Animajor, and they go home together with Beastcoast tomorrow.
