djL steps down as GamerLegion coach

Daniel “djL” Narancic has parted ways with GamerLegion as the team looks to undergo a coaching change.

djL formerly played for Japaleno, Epsilon, and Chaos, and coached the Red Reserve team that featured Mikail “Maikelele” Bill and Fredrik “FREDDyFROG” Gustafsson.

The Swede joined GamerLegion at the end of September as the team shifted from an international to an all-Swedish lineup, being signed alongside Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson.

djL is looking for new opportunities as a coach

The team wasn’t finalized then, however, as they continued to chop and change players until finally settling on Fredrik “freddieb” Buö in November. The lineup would stick together for two months, before Tim “nawwk” Jonasson’s move to NiP happened, seeing the team lose their AWPer. GamerLegion have since been seen playing with William “draken” Sundin, but are yet to announce him as a permanent addition.

This is what GamerLegion had to say about the change:

“We’d like to thank you, Daniel Narancic, for your time being the coach of our CS:GO team.

“As our team made the decision to make changes in regards to coaching, it leaves us saying goodbye to djL. We wish you all the best in future, Daniel!” – GamerLegion Twitter

After his stint with GamerLegion, djL is not looking to return to a playing position and is instead searching for a coaching gig.

GamerLegion are now down to four:

Sweden Hampus “hampus” Poser
Sweden Fredrik “freddieb” Buö
Sweden Dennis “dennis” Edman
Sweden Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson
