forZe confirm Na’Vi enquiry for FL1T
forZe have confirmed that there has been an enquiry from Natus Vincere for Evgeny “FL1T” Lebedev.
In a Twitlonger post, forZe confirmed a formal approach from Na`Vi, who are reportedly in the market for a rifler to replace Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács as the Slovakian AWPer has failed to impress since his return to the team, in August.
forZe stressed that any organisation will have to meet FL1T’s buyout clause as they have no intention of selling the player, who, according to them, is also happy to stay on.
“There were no offers made and no amount discussed,” forZe added. “There was no pressure from us or from the Na`Vi management.
“We also spoke to FL1T and it became clear to all of us that he has decided to stay with us.
“We are asking for speculation and conjecture to stop. The case is closed.”
FL1T was the last member to join the current forZe team, in October 2018, just weeks after his release from Quantum Bellator Fire. He has averaged a 1.13 rating on LAN while playing under Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov, helping the team to qualify for the StarLadder Major and to pick up title wins from Copenhagen Games, DreamHack Open Winter and the ESEA MDL Global Challenge.
Na`Vi’s search for a new rifler means that Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is expected to become the team’s main primary AWPer once again, four months after he relinquished the sniping duties to GuardiaN, who has averaged a 0.95 rating in his second tenure with the squad.
