Meralco Bolts tied the score with the help of their bench players

Game 2 ended with a final score of 104 – 102 in favor of the Meralco Bolts.

Meralco bench players had exploded from outside the arc on their 2nd game finals match-up of Philippine Governor’s Cup 2019 season.

They had a field goal of 16-38 over GinKings 9-30. John Pinto started the bench power to fuel up their game in the early half, shooting 4-5. Followed by Durham and Amer later. Even Almazan got an early 2 fouls at the half, he returned to game and contributed 15 points and nine rebounds.

Bolts had a 17 lead after the halftime.  But in the start of the second half time the GinKings rallied to tie the score at 70 but Bolts secured the win til the last minute.

Game 3 will be back in Manila, Smart Araneta Coliseum. It will be on January 12, Sunday at 6:30 am.
