Mousesports upsets World Champions!

mousesports have advanced to the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals grand final following spectacular comebacks from 11-14 and 8-14 deficits against Astralis (Train 22-19, Overpass 9-16, Dust2 16-14).

Finn “karrigan” Andersen’s team fulfilled their goal of making their second grand final in a row following a comeback from behind on both Train and Dust2, leaving Astralis frustrated after the Danes failed to make it to the final at their second consecutive event on home soil despite the advantageous position.

mousesports opted for Train to kick off the series, which immediately took a chaotic turn as the two sides kept exchanging forcebuys until the European squad came out on top, but they couldn’t capitalize on the early advantage as Astralis dominated from the seventh round on, courtesy of a great half from Emil “Magisk” Reif.

ropz & co. made Astralis sweat despite the Danes mounting a 14-8 lead, however, as they stopped the Danish squad in their tracks on the back of Özgür “woxic” Eker’s quad-kill and continued impact from the Turk, aided by an in-form Chris “chrisJ” de Jong. After turning around a 3v5 situation for 14-14, the European side sent their adversaries on an eco, gaining the upper hand to complete the huge comeback at 16-14.

Mouseports will be facing  Fnatic who previously prevail againsts Natus Vincere with a score of 2-1 tonight at 11pm. It will be a Best of 5 Grand Finals!

Best of luck to both teams.
