Na’Vi considering benching GuardiaN

The 28-year-old has been a target of criticism since leaving FaZe to rejoin the Ukraine-based organization in September, with poor displays at StarSeries i-League Season 8 and EPICENTER 2019 seeing his average rating drop to 0.95 over the four-month period.

After the Berlin Major, Natus Vincere had decided to part ways with his historic leader of the team, Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko. Teslenko was retiring after about ten years with Na’Vi, with the exception of a spell with Gambit. It was Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov who took over the lead under the tutelage of Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy as coach.

To replace him, the Ukrainian organization brought in Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács, a former member of the organization who had just been dropped by FaZe Clan. The change was a significant one, with the Slovak taking over the role of the best player of the year 2018, Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

After less than four months and a series of poor performances, GuardiaN would already be on the verge of being pushed out of Natus Vincere. According to our information, the player would not take part in the team’s practices, whereas s1mple would like to take over the sniper. Na’Vi would therefore be looking at a young rifle rifle from the CIS scene.

At the moment, nothing is yet confirmed and the organization is giving itself a few days of reflection. Rodion “fear” Smyk from the Junior team is replacing him for the praccs. However, it does not appear that this young player will be joining the first team permanently.
