OG add ruggah as coach
OG have signed Casper “ruggah” Due as their new coach, the organization announced on Twitter.
ruggah had been a free agent since his departure from OpTic, where he plied his trade for a year and a half before the team disbanded towards the end of 2019 and his contract came to an end in December.
In OG, he reunites with Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså, whom he coached in the latter half of 2017 in North, most notably placing second at DreamHack Masters Malmö and winning DreamHack Open Montreal that year alongside the 24-year-old.
The addition of a coach comes ahead of a busy schedule in February for the European roster, as OG are heading into ICE Challenge in London, which is set to start on February 1, and are also set to play in the last group of BLAST Premier Spring from February 14.
In London, ruggah & co. are placed in Group B, featuring ENCE, GODSENT, and Natus Vincere, where they will first face off against the Finnish side.
OG have:
Nathan “NBK-“ Schmitt
Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
Issa “ISSAA” Murad
Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski
Casper “ruggah” Due (coach)
With ICE Challenge London and BLAST Premier coming up soon we needed to strengthen our ranks.
