RIOT TEASES SOMETHING “BARON BIG” FOLLOWING OPEN BETA REGION EXPANSION
In a tweet last December 05, 2020, Riot Games announced via their official Twitter account for League of Legends: Wild Rift that something “Baron big” is coming. This announcement came with the launch of the game’s Open Beta on the servers of Vietnam, Oceania, Taiwan, Europe, Turkey, Russia, Middle East, and North Africa on December 8 and 10.
The photo that accompanied the tweet read “The Battle of baron: A YouTube Live Experience”. While it is not entirely clear as to what the contents of the livestream would be, it is clear as to what platform the content would be available.

After December 10, the only regions with no access to Wild Rift will be the Americas and India, although Riot has said that these regions will get to experience the thrill of Wild Rift around spring of next year. The gaming company has also been vocal in calling out players who illegally sign in with the game using Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
What are your theories on the Battle of Baron teaser? Will it be a new Wild Rift map, as with the Howling Abyss and Twisted Treeline maps of the game’s PC version, or will it be a one-time event as with the Star Guardian mini-game?
