TALENT LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR “B SITE” LEAGUE
The broadcast team for the league tentatively named “B Site” has been announced.
A tweet from the Esports Championship Series (ECS) account revealed nine talent members that would take part in “a new CS:GO League” in March 2020, adding credence to an earlier report from DBLTAP that indicated that FACEIT would pull the plug on ECS and turn focus to producing B Site.
Notably, B Site’s concurrent overlap with ESL Pro League means that the below talent members will not be a part of ESL’s broadcast lineup for EPL, leaving many of CS:GO‘s most notable on-air talent already tied to one side of a tug-of-war between the two leagues.
The lineup features a number of familiar names, including that of Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat. While the announcement did not directly reference any roles for the talent members, Semmler has most recently taken charge of desk hosting at BLAST events, although he may opt for a different direction in the new league.
The analyst component of the desk will be headed up by Sean “seang@res” Gares and Duncan “Thorin” Shields, with the latter member also functioning as Creative Director for the league. Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles was also named as a “special guest”, with the former Overwatch and League of Legends commentator also announcing that he would be both on-camera talent while “assisting with creative direction and production.”
The commentary will be handled by two regular duos, with Anders “Anders” Blume and Jason “moses” O’Toole on one side and the quintessential FACEIT pairing of James “JZFB” Bardolph and Daniel “ddk” Kapadia on the other, while Freya Spiers rounds out the list.
The broadcast talent list for the B Site league looks as follows:
Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat
Sean “seang@res” Gares
Duncan “Thorin” Shields
Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles
Freya Spiers
Anders “Anders” Blume — Caster
Jason “moses” O’Toole — Caster
Daniel “ddk” Kapadia — Caster
