The 3rd day of the playoffs has been a wholesome battle between monstrous teams. Déjà vu is the word that we’re looking for to describe the result of the day 3 matches as Vici Gaming was easily flushed out to the lower bracket by their fellow chinese team PSG.LGD securing the 3rd spot. The match-up that dota2 fans are looking forward to as EG failed to claim their revenge towards OG with an intense battle and indirect trash talking with each other throughout their best of three series. It is again the rematch of the TI8 runner up PSG.LGD versus the current grand champions OG. Also an extraordinary fight between Team Secret and Mineski was witnessed by millions of fans with great fulfillment and joy as Mineski gave Team Secret a rough victory. Although it was Mineski’s strongest point in TI9 with their dominating games 1 and 3 but was awaken by a shocking comeback by Team Secret, thus knocking them out of the tournament placing at 9th-12th spot. Another unexpected break from Infamous just as they turn apart the hope of Newbee in continuing their journey towards the Aegis of Champions. The least expected chinese team to proceed further in the tournament other than being eliminated first, Royal Never Give Up. They have been absolutely invincible as they managed to take down with domination Virtus Pro 2-0. Although Virtus Pro showed a lousy performance in this tournament, it still a spectacle for RNG to beat up a major champion and one of the DPC points leader before The International 9. RNG displayed a great potential unstoppable power even if it is against any other tier 1 teams.

Team Liquid as “Lower Bracket Warriors” we will surely witness them conquer every team that they are against. After their victory on the strongest Philippine team TNC, Team Liquid has leveled up their game and would evidently crush RNG in their BO3 series. Miracle and GH have been spectacularly displayed their mechanical skills in their past games and these players have been known with their consistency.

Team Liquid would be the lion and RNG as the deer in this match-up. Hence, RNG is inevitably fall as Liquid’s prey.

Our Prediction: Team Liquid win 2-0

Team Secret showcased their power and tenacity against Mineski during their BO3 series. Although Mineski managed to force a game 3 in their series, Team Secret just irresistibly shut down one of the strongest team in South East Asia. They showed control over their Mineski and successfully monopolize the match-up to fall towards their favor. It is undoubtedly a key factory that Team Secret has never broke their morale after an upset loss against the Evil Geniuses. Despite their inconsistency with their past 2 BO3 series, Team Secret is still firmly focused in claiming the Aegis.

Infamous on the other hand has been astonishing with their past games and brutally defeating the local team Keen Gaming and the uprising force of Newbee. They lifted up the South American dota with their current achievement in their TI9 journey. Infamous was sought to be super underdog against Team Secret, however Team Secret could not just put their minds at ease as Infamous could suddenly strike Team Secret’s weak points if a chance is given. The key player of infamous is K1, if Hector is going to have a great time in playing against Team Secret, odds of them in winning series will certainly be higher.

Having said that, Team Secret would assuredly prevail in their game with Infamous.

Our Prediction: Team Secret win 2-0
