ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational: format and schedule

The last tournament of the year has now started , December 17, in Singapore. ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational will mark the LAN debut in the new season for Team Secret and PSG.LGD Gaming, but it will also feature some of the best teams of the moment playing on the first LAN since the big 7.23 update.

A total of 12 teams have been invited by One Esports and will be fighting to determine who is the unrivalled master of all the intricacies of the Outlanders patch. The event will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with $500,000 on the line, and it will begin with an eliminatory group stage.

Group stage:

• 12 teams divided into 2 Round-Robin groups

• 2 game series

• Top 2 teams from each group advance to the upper bracket playoffs

• 3rd-4th teams from each group advance to the lower bracket playoffs

• Bottom 2 teams from each group are eliminated

The playoffs will unfold December 20-22 in a double elimination bracket. First round in the lower bracket is best-of-one, the rest of the series being best-of-three, with the grand finals set for a best-of-five battle for the title.
