Full list of 2019-2020 Dota 2 majors through The International 2020
Barring some sort of controversy, the Dota Pro Circuit major calendar is officially filled. The calendar is comprised of five events that will take place between November 2019 and June 2020.
The Dota Pro Circuit is used to determine the 12 invitees to The International 2020.
The first Dota Pro Circuit Major tournament, MDL Chengdu, happened in November 2019, giving fans their first taste of teams like Evil Geniuses, Alliance, and Fnatic after heavy roster shakeups. However, top teams such as OG, Team Secret, and PSG.LGD took a longer break and gave the tournament a pass.
Dota 2 enthusiasts started the new decade with a Dota Pro Circuit minor, the WePlay! Bukovel Minor. Eight teams are brawling for a coveted slot in the DreamLeague Leipzig Major. The tournament will be the first major Dota Pro Circuit tournament of 2020.
Top teams that were previously on hiatus qualified for the DreamLeague Leipzig Major and, with another 4,850 DPC points at stake, the event will surely be a bloodbath. Any team that wins a major tournament will be in a very strong position to earn a direct invitation to The International 2020.
