Universe 7 escapes Jalkaps, presses on to round 2

Viewers witnessed an unexpectedly long match between Universe 7 and Jalkaps.

During the Lockdown Online Tournament, Jalkaps was at the disadvantage, having drafted only one hero which can deal with enough damage against Universe 7’s draft.

A team fight ensued midgame in favor of Universe 7. Jalkaps was almost wiped out but was able to escape the pressure.

Universe 7 then took the Aegis of the Immortal 20 minutes in the game, which gave them more advantages to future team fights. Jalkaps was just waiting for a mistake from the opposing team.

Thirty minutes into the game, Universe 7 pushed tier 3 top tower. They are getting the upper hand of the match. However, Jalkaps was able to stop the push by killing Morphling, one of the core heroes of Universe 7.

Universe 7 tries to make another push on the 35th minute, and this time the GG was called, which marks Universe 7’s first victory.

The MVP of the round is Nickson “NIZ” Abad, with 2 kills, 3 deaths, and 15 assists.

The Lockdown Online Tournament is an online Dota 2 competition, featuring a P50,000 prize pool. There are 64 teams competing, with matches lasting until Friday, April 3, 2020.
