After Raven, is Fnatic making the moves to acquire Kuku?

Does Fnatic welcome Kuku?

In a stream by Carlo “Kuku” Palad, a steam chat appeared while doing commentary on Neon Esports’ match against TNC Predator for Moon Studio’s Asian League, asking for his expected salary on being a player for another organization.

The conversation started with steam user “Nubboi” sending the following messages respectively:

“hey kuku”
“quick question”
“what’s your expected salary”

Kuku then replied with “heryu.” (which could be an urban term for “Hi” or “Hello”).

Steam user “Nubboi” immediately followed-up with the message “for other org, ”which prompted Kuku to reply that he will answer later as he is streaming.

Steam user “Nubboi” then asked if the transcript of his messages were shown on stream, and when Kuku replied yes, that it was shown, the user then freaked out and spammed letter A’s on his next messages.

Fans watching his stream were quick to point out regarding the talks about his salary and the context of him transferring to another organization and were immediately asking as to who was the person on the other end of the conversation.

Kuku in his own language then said “Guys! Fnatic kasi yong nag chat eh, wala kayong nakita” (Guys! It was Fnatic who chatted, you’ve seen nothing)

The whole stream then transpired to a comment-barrage which blew-up the situation, and in an effort to downplay the event Kuku stated that it was “Coach Byb” a retired Dota 2 professional player, and a Filipino esports personality, who at that time was co-casting with him, was the one sending the messages, saying it was only an effort to create a fake-clout in order to gather more viewers.

However, fans watching the stream were not content with the explanation and were firm to believe that the dubbed “Filipino Power Duo” of Raven and Kuku will finally be making a return in Fnatic’s stead.

Kuku is currently the position 3 player for Geek Fam, a Malaysian esports team established in November 2016.

The whole conversation can be seen on his stream through his Facebook Gaming page Carlo “Kuku” Palad.
