ANIMAJOR PLAYOFFS DAY 1 RESULTS

The Group Stage is over, and the playoff officially begins for the WePlay! Kyiv Animajors. Here is a recap of the games that we covered over at Southside Tambayan.

TEAM ASTER VS. T1 (0-2)

T1 dominated game 1 by catching Team Aster by surprise with their Brood Mother pick, closing out the game early and stomping the Chinese team. They did the same in game 2, wiping the floor with Aster’s remains as they stomp the latter 14-6.

PSG.LGD VS. ALLIANCE (2-0)

PSG.LGD took game 1 by flipping the tables on to Alliance, holding out for the late game and diving into the Radiant team’s base and closing out the game with a win in their favor. They then shoved Alliance down the drain as they completely dominated game 2 with the electrifying powers of Razor.

TEAM NIGMA VS. VIRTUS.PRO (2-0)

Despite a (somewhat minor) inconvenience on the side of Miracle and Team Nigma, the game between Virtus.Pro and Team Nigma went on.

Even with the hurdle faced by Miracle, he carried the team to victory with his Invoker and helped Team Nigma take game 1 against Virtus.Pro. But they did not stop at one win, as they went on and smashed Virtus.Pro in game 2, closing out the series two-nil in favor of Team Nigma.

QUINCY CREW VS. NOPING ESPORTS (1-1)

Quincy Crew crush Noping Esports as the former utterly stomp the latter in game 1 of the series. The NA pride had shown no mercy to the SA pride as they show off their unorthodox and not-so-meta Venomancer position 4 pick. Game 2 was a different story, as Noping Esports tie the game.

Game 2, however, paved the way for Noping Esports to shine, allowing them to take the game to 1-1.

Game 3 is anyone’s game, but Quincy Crew proved themselves to be the better team as they close out the series.
