With a layup in the second quarter vs. the Rockets on Wednesday, Carmelo Anthony moved into 17th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, passing Kevin Garnett.

The bucket at the 9:14 mark in the second quarter gave Anthony six points (and counting) for the night and made his career total 26,073, surpassing Garnett’s 26,071. He did not score again in the Trail Blazers’ 125-112 win.

Anthony could move up two more spots on the list this season if he keeps scoring at the same 16.1 ppg pace, possibly moving past John Havlicek (26,395) and Paul Pierce (26,397).
