Esports and pop culture event CONQuest Festival 2020 postponed

Organizers of the CONQuest Festival, a gathering of esports and other pop culture enthusiasts in the southern Philippines, prominently the Western Visayas, have announced its postponement through their official social media pages today.

The fourth run of the premier pop culture and gaming event adds to the list of many events and gatherings postponed and canceled because of the coronavirus disease pandemic.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the rescheduling of #CQ2020. Our main concern is the health of our community—both local and national,” part of their statement read.

The CONQuest Festival was supposed to host a series of tournaments and exhibitions such as the Esports AcadArena collegiate league for League of Legends and Dota 2, Iloilo Gaming Open, Brand and Tech Expo, QuestTalks and Retro Arcade.

The event was originally scheduled on July 4-5, 2020. It was supposed to be held in the Iloilo Convention Center.

If you bought a ticket to attend the event, organizers provided in their social media pages on how to claim your refund.
