The Void? The Abyss? Kuro and co. hint to their new team

This year's Post-TI Roster-Shuffle brought a big surprise: the legendary players from Team Liquid surrounding captain Kuro S. 'KuroKy' Takhasomi decided to leave the organisation after four years. After months of almost complete silence, they are now teasing their new team with cryptic pictures. Sunday evening, all players shared drawings of themselves staring at a black hole or solar eclipse – similar to Epic Game's marketing move for Fortnite's Season 2. While each player is glancing into space, the environment differs in each picture. Team Void, Team Eclipse, Team Black Hole, Astral, Enigma? Users already get creative when it comes to guessing the name of the new organisation, but so far there is no further information. Kuro that the most recent...

TNC Predator Chengdu Major CHAMPIONS

TNC Predator exacted the sweetest revenge on its way to winning the first Major of the 2019/20 Dota Pro Circuit Season, the MDL Chengdu Major in China. The Philippine-based squad of Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte, Timothy "Tims" Randrip, Armel "Armel" Tabios, Australian Damien "kpii" Chok, and Korean Park "March" Tae-won had to take the longer and harder route to capture the revamped roster's second trophy, following the one from ESL One Hamburg in Germany. TNC was almost unstoppable to start the tournament, sweeping Group A in the preliminaries and losing just one playoff match to Alliance. After they took care of business against J.Storm (2-0), the Southeast Asian group had the tables turned on them by hometown team Vici Gaming in...

Liquid sends Alliance home!

Former Alliance squad (Team Liquid) dominated on their lower bracket game versus Alliance with a score of 2-0. Nikobaby and the squad didn't even get a chance to make a stand on their match-up with the former Alliance team. Game 1: Alliance  ES + Morph combo didn't shine against Faceless Void + LC near the Dire bottom bounty rune clash. ES+Morph almost takes down Void, but a perfect chrono set-up with the help of LC, takes the ES+Morph winning moment on that clash. Thus then ending the game at 54 minutes mark. Game 2: Faceless Void + Timbersaw (Liquid) was too much for a Drow + Gyro + Puck (Alliance). Alliance took their first tower push together with the squad...

San Miguel has indefinitely suspended three of its players -- Arwind Santos, Kelly Nabong, and Ronald Tubid--: after their scuffle in the team's practice on last November 17, the team said in a statement on November 20, today. The three along import Dez Wells figured in a tussle during their practice at the Upper Deck in Pasig. According to reports, Santos gave Wells a hard pick much to the dislike of the fiery American reinforcement who confronted Santos. Tubid, known a good friend of the veteran forward, according to witnesses punched Wells which Nabong retaliated with another punch. However, the players are still being sanctioned as "the San Miguel organization does not tolerate unsportsmanlike behavior." As of today, the Beermen...

In the final series of the day at the MDL Chengdu Major for today Alliance would be fighting against Team Aster in a best-of-three elimination match – the winner moving forward to fight Team Liquid. Alliance came into the Major on the back of a magnificent start to the Dota 2 season with a win at DreamLeague season 12 followed by a third-place finish at ESL One Hamburg. EG continues to advance at upper bracket TOP 6!

MDL Chengdu Major last quarterfinal series pitted Evil Geniuses against the Dota Summit Minor Champions, Invictus Gaming, who got punished for their hyper aggressive playstyle. The battle for a top six spot in Chengdu started with an unconventional mid lane Night Stalker from iG and a good laning stage that put EG 2k gold behind in the first five minutes of the game. The early lead felt more like a trap set for themselves by iG, who lost their composure going into the first team fight and they got outplayed by the NA representative. A single misstep in the EG jungle, around the 15-minute mark, was enough to destabilize the Chinese team. Game two unfolded in a rather similar way,...

EHOME to be the first team to go home for MDL Chengdu!

Despite playing in homegrounds and a brilliant performance in the upper bracket, EHOME was forced back into the corner of the lower bracket elimination today at MDL Chengdu. Luckily It wasn't "Best of 1" series to fight for elimination, still it's a fight for their tournament lives. Team Liquid's previous game wasn't going well in their way since former alliance roster joined the organisation, struggled to find their footing and feeling the pressure of the organisation's name to keep up to the hype. Although the team had a minor breakthrough at DreamLeague Season 12, finished the event in fourth place, most of their journey have fallen short. With this tournament right now, this is their chance to redeem and live...
