Regional rankings adapted for 2020 CS:GO Majors


  With the restrictions set up all over the globe because of the coronavirus pandemic, teams competing for the ESL One Rio Major will have to earn their invites through regional rankings. In a statement, Valve cited foreseeable difficulties in travel as a major factor that led to the revamp. Round 2 of their match could be regarded as one of the most notable matches of the tournament. Both teams showcased their grit and skill during their hour-long face-off. One of the favored teams, GoodFellaz, was unexpectedly eliminated from the competition after losing to Ground Zero. Perceptive wiped out Dota 2 asd just 13 minutes in the game when a team fight ensued with an attempt to subdue Perceptive's core heroes. Round 2: TEAMPURA wipes out NawaFKOO


by Zena V. Magto TEAMPURA was eager to press on to round 3 as they wiped out their opponent NawaFKOO twice during their second-round battle in the Lockdown Online Tournament. TEAMPURA's cohesive gameplay was apparent in the battle as their heroes coordinated well throughout the map. Nine minutes in the game, TEAMPURA was already winning all the lanes against NawaFKOO. A team fight ensued and on the 14th minute, NawaFKOO was wiped out the first time. NawaFKOO tries to engage TEAMPURA into a team fight, but they ended up getting wiped out again at the 18th minute. In the early game, Kornbip19 gained the upper hand by suppressing the core hero of Quarantine Dota. Nine minutes in the game, the middle and top tier 1 tower of Quarantine Dota was already destroyed. Kornbip19 did not give Quarantine Dota any window for them to recover. They pushed through the bottom lane and eventually destroyed their barracks. They were against Montalbomb, who had strong gameplay at first but then lost it when Colourz changed theirs. Colourz was able to make a comeback in the early phase of the game after Montalbomb initially was leading the kill score and net worth. The tables turned when Colourz rotated their heroes and engaged in team fights.
