The International 9 Main event standings!
Day 2 has it’s ups and downs following with huge upsets from top tier team losing to underdogs, emotional loss has been witnessed today by most of the fans from around the world as we saw our favoured teams walk away with a devastating loss and a heavy heart knowing they won’t be continuing their run to claim the Aegis of champion. Virtus Pro and TNC Pro bids farewell of this main event but surely they gave all of their best to hold on but unfortunately in run short as the other teams perform better. However, lower bracket matches will be more intense as we will witness tomorrow who will stay and who will go home.

PSG.LGD vs Vici Gaming
PSG.LGD is looking good in their run for the aegis of champions and many believed that this time they will surely claim it as we saw how well the perform through the entire tournament with flawless executions, good positioning and reading the game flow. We can safely say that LGD’s extreme scrims and practices really did pay off due to their group-stage’s performance following with a 2-0 run against Virtus Pro, who were also a
top contender in this season. Fuelled by the crowds chant, LGD will surely won’t disappoint their fans tomorrow against Vici Gaming.
Vici Gaming however also looks solid with their strategic line ups and awesome execution of skills from each players, consistent farm strategy from their cores and the flexibility of their supports. Payed off by their immense practices, this match would be 50/50 as both teams represent their country.

Evil Geniuses vs OG
Looking at yesterdays match between OG and Newbee, OG really looked so formidable and unbeaten with their sheer talent, knowledge and understanding of the plays. OG remained very consistent with their play and even trolling while in the playoffs match. This shows the confidence and dominance displayed by OG because of their friendship. However they would still strive to reclaim once again the aegis of champion and crowned to be the back to back The International Champions.
EG however dominated Team Secret with what most of the fans thought that Team Secret will easily beat EG in the upper bracket. Team Secret performed so great during the Major Season with only EG coming 3rd runner up only. Secret dominated EG in this past Major matches but yesterday, EG turns the tide as they managed to hold on and let Arteezy farm till they can isolate Team Secret’s position 4 “Zai” and control the flow of the game resulting Team Secret down in a 2-1 match. Many would have thought that this match would go to Team Secret but EG proved it wrong.
And again we wouldn’t miss what everyone is thinking about right? The TI drama with EG and OG fights again for the aegis of champions. Will there be beef between Fly and Notail? or would they have forgiven one another.

Newbee vs Infamous
The clash between North and South America Dota will be epic tomorrow as we will witness who will reign and continue the dream, will it be South American dota the Infamous Gaming or the Newbee (Former Forward Gaming). Even tho Newbee was outperformed by OG, it does not sway the fact that they are not to be messed with. Newbee’s performance puts a threat on most of the favoured teams beating Team Liquid 2-0 in the first day of group-stage and even performing well in the next matches. The pride of the North American team will play against their opposite pole and battle to the death in order for them to continue their run.
But Infamous Gaming is a team that you won’t have to take easily too as they managed to beat down one of the crowds representative team “Keen Gaming” in a BO1 match, a crucial stage for all lower bracket round 1 matches as they will have to give all of their best in order for them to survive and have the chance to claim the title. They silenced the crowd, ignore their chant and performed very well eliminating “Keen Gaming”.

Team Secret vs Mineski
Secret had an excellent season with 2 Major titles. Ludwin “zai” Wåhlberg returned to the team alongside a young refreshment Michal “Nisha” Jankowski and that’s were what this team needs and gain more DPC points which have them direct invite to The International 2019. Their recent match against Evil Genius in the upper bracket puts them down at the lower bracket and putting them to encounter Mineski which is one of the best teams in Southeast Asia.
Mineski are one of the squads garnering a lot of positive attention during TI9. They had very messy season and their roster was always rotating players in and out, with little consistency to provide fall back during poor showings. Now, with their mew coach which is the Dota legend Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and with the new rooster headed by Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr, Mineski turn their season completely around. Their recent match against Team Secret on the group stage which results to draw, said that they can withstand one of the most prominent team of The International 2019 Tournament.
