Villains are out! Evil Geniuses drop from The International

As difficult as it seems, Evil Geniuses had been eliminated from The International 2019 by Team Liquid. With the hopes of reclaiming the aegis of champion once more, they were stopped and demolished with a 2-0 standing. Artour “Arteezy” Babaev heartbreaking loss took a toll in his career now that they only finished top 6 with what seems for the fans that he performed poorly in the entire run. Finishing top 5-6th, will Evil Geniuses comeback stronger? or shall we witness the inevitable fate of changing rosters. However they may not be re shuffling as we have yet to see them as five in Singapore to train 5 national dota2 teams at Razer’s SEA Games Esports Bootcamp.

The boot camp will bring together the national teams of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Phillippines.

North American Dota 2 powerhouse and TI5 champions, Evil Geniuses, will be flying into Singapore next month for Razer’s SEA Games Esports Bootcamp, where they will be training five national teams and helping them prepare for the upcoming SEA Games, where Dota 2 is one of six esports medal events.

“The SEA Games 2019 is an important event in esports history,” said Evil Geniuses Dota 2 coach, Sam “Bulba” Sosale. “Evil Geniuses is excited to help some of the best players in Southeast Asia prepare for it.”

While they’re in Singapore, Evil Geniuses will also be holding their first-ever fan meet-and-greet in Southeast Asia. Fans will be able to meet star players, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan, and Gustav “s4” Magnusson, and will have a chance to win signed jerseys from the team.

The meet-and-greet will take place on September 1 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at *SCAPE The TreeTop.

Evil Geniuses is currently competing in TI9, where they face Team Secret in their first Upper Bracket match.
