WeSave! Charity Play to combat COVID-19 the esports way

 

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) jeopardized the lives of most of the world, including esports.

But for some, this is an opportunity to band together.

WeSave! Charity Play will hold online Dota 2 esports tournaments starting this Friday, March 20 and will conclude on Thursday, March 26.

Four teams will represent each region in this worldwide charity marathon to display the unity of the Dota 2 community.

The organizers are welcoming teams from all over the world to join the battle against the pandemic that has disrupted daily lives. Teams will share a $120,000 prize pool. That is on top of the donations and funds raised from viewers.
