Tug of War: Mad Moon is the culmination of an event that began last year with regional online tournaments. Tug of War: Radiant featured European and CIS teams, WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire Asia featured Chinese and Southeast Asian competitors, while North and South America squads duked it out in the WePlay! Tug of War: Dire America. The winners of each event, plus the champions of Reshuffle Madness 2019, secured besides the prize money, a ticket to the WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon LAN.
Along with the two directly invited squads, Gambit Esports and Team Secret, there’s Ninjas in Pyjamas, winners of the Radiant tourney, Royal Never Give Up, winners of Dire Asia, Infamous, from Dire America and Natus Vincere, champions of Reshuffle Madness. They are all expected to arrive next month in Kyiv to battle on the Concert Hall VDNG stage. Two more direct invites are to be announced soon, so stay tuned!
