Can the Philippines host The International 2021?

By: Bob Tagulob

With Valve announcing that The International 2021 is open for hosting proposals for the biggest Dota 2 event in 2021, do you think we can have this event here in the Philippines?

Venue

Philippine Arena Front View in Bulacan

In terms of places that can handle this big event, I do believe that Philippine Sports Arena is most suited of being the place that will handle this event due to the number of people that it can accommodate may reach up to 55,000 people and a lot of extracurricular activity can be accomplished in this venue.

Fans

Filipino fans cheering during Manila Major 2016

Filipino dota2 fans are the best in the world, as shown in the Manila Major last 2016. It’s about time we give the Filipinos the best dota2 in the world. If TI11 will be held here, the energy that will be given by the fans will always be 110%, and that is just an understatement because the Filipinos will surely give the visiting players the best time of their lives. Filipinos are very dedicated to dota2 that we will treat this as the biggest event in the Philippines.

Accessibility

With the Philippines having 4 major commercial airline companies, namely Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, and Skyjet. The Philippines is one of the most accessible countries in the world. There will be no problem with the teams nor the foreigners as we are one of the most visited countries in the world.

With these factors, I can say that the Philippines have what it takes to host TI11 in 2021 as we have the tools to host this event and THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD.
