Bisdako and GamersVille to close Vis Qualifier of the AMD Summer League

by Zena V. Magto

Visayas teams did not disappoint as all gave good performances during the semifinals of the AMD Summer League Visayas Qualifier.

After a long bo3 series, it’s either Bisdako or GamersVille who will represent the Visayas region during the playoffs round.

All-Cebuano team Bisdako will face Leyte team GamersVille in a bo5 series.

While GamersVille may feel pressure against the more experienced Bisdako roster, GamersVille was very dominating in today’s games as the gap in experience against Hellion was apparent. In game 2, GamersVille’s fat core heroes gave them the momentum they needed to make a comeback after losing game 1. In 28 minutes, Hellion’s middle barracks fell, and the base was overwhelmed thereafter.

Bisdako, on the other hand, made slow but sure plays which gave them a lot of advantage over Team Daddy. The team ganked at every lane and was always prepared for any follow-up. With Mirana’s Sacred Arrow, Bisdako made sure kills to their prey.

While it is a nice opportunity, GamersVille described their matchup with Bisdako like that of a pro against rookies.

“Parang Allstar vs. rookies, parang wala (kaming gagawin)… enjoy lang namin yung game,” said John Christian “Janjanzxc” De Paz of GamersVille.

(Against Bisdako, it’s like Allstar vs. rookies, I don’t think we will do anything about that, we will just enjoy the game.)

The weekly winner will win P2,500 digital credits and will be seeded to the main event of the AMD Summer League.

Matches tomorrow will start at 14:00 PHT and will be streamed and cast via Chuplak (Bisaya) and Kuya-Jop’s (Tagalog) Facebook pages. You can also view the matches at Dota 2 TV (accessed via the Dota 2 client).

The AMD Summer League is an event partnered with AMD Philippines and is made possible by ACX Outsourcing Hub, Mad Catz, 2ez.bet, Foresight.ph, OGcredits, Cobra Energy Drink and South.gg.
