Nigma off to a hot start in the Leipzig Major group stage

A Major champion vs Minor Champion series opened the second Major tournament of the season, as TNC Predator were pitted against Nigma in the first series of group A of DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major. Nigma were the last to join the 16 team line-up of this Major after a hard fought victory through the lower bracket rounds at the Bukovel Minor 2020. Their games weren’t exactly clean at the Minor, and not many were ready to jump on the hype train, even though they claimed the trophy last week to secure themselves a spot at the Major. Their struggles are not over yet, given the loss against TNC in the opening game. The SEA champions outmaneuvered Nigma with...

In a Twitlonger post, forZe confirmed a formal approach from Na`Vi, who are reportedly in the market for a rifler to replace Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács as the Slovakian AWPer has failed to impress since his return to the team, in August. forZe stressed that any organisation will have to meet FL1T's buyout clause as they have no intention of selling the player, who, according to them, is also happy to stay on. "There were no offers made and no amount discussed," forZe added. "There was no pressure from us or from the Na`Vi management. "We also spoke to FL1T and it became clear to all of us that he has decided to stay with us. "We are asking for speculation and conjecture...

W7M have added Rinaldo "ableJ" Moda Junior to their roster as part of a six-month long loan arrangement with FURIA Inagame. ableJ joins the Brazilian organization as a replacement for Leon "ryotzz" Felipe, who found his two year tenure with W7M brought to an end at the close of 2019. In the interim, the team utilized former player Lucas "YJ" Yuji as they looked to earn a spot at the WESG 2019 Brazil Finals through the online qualifier. There, W7M were quickly sent packing following a 1-2 loss to Lincoln "fnx" Lau's RED Canids, who went on to secure qualification for the event themselves. LeBron James reportedly thinks Jason Kidd is ‘the only person alive who sees the game of basketball with his level of clarity’

When it was leaked that the Lakers had serious interest in hiring Jason Kidd as an assistant coach, not everyone was on board with the idea, and rightfully so. In the four years Kidd served as a head coach, he had a losing record of 183-190, including a 23-22 record in his final season with the Milwaukee Bucks. In the season after Kidd was fired, his replacement, Mike Budenholzer, led the Bucks to an NBA-best 60-22 record. Generally speaking, that’s not a great look. It’s also worth mentioning that Tyronn Lue — who the Lakers offered the head coaching job to before Frank Vogel — didn’t like the idea of having Kidd on his coaching staff, which played a role in talks between the two parties breaking down. There was one person that...
