Reech Apex and Arturito trade blows as they vie for the finals

After a grueling bo3 battle, Reech Apex emerged victorious during the playoffs round against Arturito, 2-1.

Round 2 of their match could be regarded as one of the most notable matches of the tournament. Both teams showcased their grit and skill during their hour-long face-off.

They were just trading kills and damage for 30 minutes in the game. Reech Apex and Arturito equally crippled each other’s bases. Arturito lost their middle racks, while Reech Apex was getting pushed in the middle lane.

Arturito eventually won game 2, 1-1. They were able to withstand the pressure and the length of the game, which caught Reech Apex off guard. The final skill score of the round is 36-33 in favor of Arturito.

Although Reech Apex ultimately won the match, audiences were left in awe with how the matches turned out. We hope to see team Arturito again in other tournaments.

The Lockdown Online Tournament is an online Dota 2 competition, featuring a P50,000 prize pool. There are 64 teams competing, with matches lasting until Friday, April 3, 2020.

The tournament aims to encourage gamers to stay at home in quarantine as a measure to prevent further spread of the infectious coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
