Team Adroit, HellRaisers, EG press on to WeSave! finals

Day four of WeSave! Charity Play will be the last batch of semifinal matches on which teams will proceed to the finals.

Meanwhile, SEA, CIS, and the North American regions have already locked in their final regional matches.

Geek Fam will be facing Team Adroit in the SEA playoffs. Team Adroit beat TNC Predator 2-1, despite TNC getting OG’s Anathan “ana” Pham stand-in for Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte.

In the CIS semifinals, Virtus.pro initially won the first match but HellRaisers eventually owned the last two matches. They will be facing Natus Vincere, who also shut down new esports organization B8 2-0.

CR4ZY and Evil Geniuses will be facing off in the North America playoffs. Evil Geniuses secured their win against business associates after dominating two quick matches.

The charity play is a single-elimination bo3 format, which means that losing teams are dropped off the game.

TNC, despite the disappointing finish, bid both Geek Fam and Team Adroit the best of luck in their match and was still grateful to be a part of the effort to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

“Let us not forget the essence of the tournament and continue to help those who are in need amidst the crisis of the COVID-19 outbreak,” part of their Facebook post said.

Day four of WeSave! Charity Play will begin on March 23, 12:00 UTC, which is 8:00 p.m. in the Philippines.

Tonight, we will find out who will compete for China, Europe, and South America regional finals.
