This week in Dota 2: TI10 delayed, 7.26c gameplay update released

Here’s your weekly round-up of the events that happened the past week.

  • The 10th iteration of The International is postponed, possibly until 2021. Valve also said that the whole Dota Pro Circuit season will be restructured to fall, or around the last quarter of the year. However, the Battle Pass will be released just a week later than the usual schedule. This means that we can expect its release in the next few weeks. The announcement was posted on dota2.com last April 30.

  • In response to 7.26b’s rather vague and collective update on heroes’ Talents, the 7.26c update released on May 3, featured major, more detailed reworks on heroes’ Talents. The update will surely change the meta in the games.

  • The Dota 2 roster of Cloud9 disbanded after just three months in the scene. This is the fifth time Cloud9 revived their Dota 2 team. Players released were Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard, Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen and Johan “pieliedie” Åström.

  • Both OG and its academy team OG.Seed are eliminated in the WePlay! Pushka League. OG hit a rough patch with its roster playing in heightened pings, while OG.Seed already lost in four matches and only won once so far. Their organization will still play in the remainder of the series, but with their standings, they have already lost their chance to advance to the playoffs.
